We provide NQF Level 4-aligned training to upcoming electricians and plumbers at Newgen Trade School and help people skilled in their trade to acquire their trade test certificate at Nomanzi Trade School. We also train electricians at Monster Electrical College.
Our Monster of a History
1995 – 2008 | Monster Plumbing
The company was established in 1995, and our Monster Plumbing story began in 2008 after rebranding. With this came the iconic monster mascot, which quickly became well-known and trusted around Cape Town.
2009 | Monster Plumbing College
We soon realised the need to train plumbers to uphold the excellent workmanship standards we pursue, and that is how Monster Plumbing College was born in 2009. This dream later developed into two more training institutions for plumbers and electricians – one aimed at youngsters (Newgen College) and one at skilled artisans who need their trade test certificates (Nomanzi Trade School).
2022 | Monster Electrical
However, the Monster family was only complete when Monster Electrical was founded to provide the much-needed complementary service of quality electrical work to our valued clientele. Although we have been operational in electrical work for 17 years, we only officially launched Monster Electrical as a separate business in 2022.
2024 | Monster Electrical
In 2024, we realised that even monsters must keep up with the times. We opted for a rebrand to modernise our much-loved little monster, showing our commitment to continuous development. We are proud of how our monsters have aged and look forward to serving our clients for many years to come.
